Pre-Production
This is where all video production starts. In Phoenix or anywhere else in the world. Pre-production is all about the plan!
Before we ever pick up a video camera we have a lot of pre-production work to do. Creative Brainstorming, Research, Budgeting, Scripting, Shotlisting, Location Scouting, Video Crew Booking and Call Sheet Creation.
Production
Production pretty much just means shooting the video. But there are many moving parts and typically, quite a few people involved. There’s a lot at stake if you don’t get it right.
It’s expensive and time-consuming to re-shoot video so it’s important to get it right the first time. The reason we want to do so much pre-production work is to minimize the risk of anything going wrong on “shoot day”.
Post-Production
It all comes together in video post-production. The good news is that the stress level is lower because, unlike video shooting, if we don’t like something we can re-do it any time we want!
Video editing, color grading, graphics, music, and final sound mix take many hours of pain-staking focus and creativity. But even one frame can make a difference. So it’s well worth the effort.
Promotion
Today there are myriad channels to present your video. On your website, Facebook, Youtube, Instagram, Vimeo. There are literally hundreds more depending on your target market.
